Roman Riva
Roman Riva is a Texas-based artist.
In 2003, he started his career as a cartoonist. In 2018, his friend Allie asked him to draw her and convinced him to take his art seriously.
Roman lists John William Waterhouse, Alphonse Mucha, and Frank Frazetta as his top influences. For artistic genres, he loves 19th-century Romanticism, the Golden Age of American pinups, Art Nouveau, and early Dungeons and Dragons art when it was still raw and uncensored.
Four years later, he now works with six lovely ladies (in chronological order) – Allie, Roxy, Sophia, Diana, Katie, and Celeste.
Then he began drawing his friend Melisa as well and started selling paintings.
Roman’s married and has a grown son who has already served his country (Navy).
